What we visit

  1. Eltz Castle and the Vukovar City Museum
A baroque castle that houses the City Museum. You learn about the history of the town and the family who lived here.
  2. A walk through the baroque centre of Vukovar
On foot through the old town centre, with stories about its buildings, its people and life on the Danube.
  3. The Vučedol Culture Museum
A museum built on the archaeological site, with the story of the Vučedol Dove and the oldest European calendar.

Good to know

  • Vučedol is outside the immediate town centre, so you need a car to get there. We agree transport when you book.
  • Museum tickets are paid at each museum’s own prices unless agreed otherwise. I check opening hours when you book.
  • The tour is easy to extend with a Hero City tour or the Ilok wine tour.
